The villa was born from a desire to offer something different from the large, impersonal hotels and crowded tourist spots. We envisioned a private haven where friends and families could feel completely at home. We carefully restored and furnished the property, choosing each piece of antique furniture not just for its beauty, but for the character and soul it brings. The result is a villa that feels both timeless and deeply comforting, a place where you can immediately slip into a slower pace of life.

Walking into Dhyana Beach Villa, you’ll notice a sense of calm. The high ceilings, natural textures, and curated collection of Sri Lankan and colonial-era antiques give each room its own personality. We’ve paired these timeless pieces with all the essentials for a carefree stay: king-sized beds with quality linens, powerful hot-water showers, and a fully equipped kitchen. While we are not beachfront, we cherish our location. The beach is an easy 200-meter walk—close enough for spontaneous sunrise walks or sunset views, but far enough to ensure the villa remains a peaceful sanctuary away from the breeze and noise.

Hello, I’m Irosh Ranaveera, the owner and your host. My family and I are passionate about sharing the serene side of Ambalangoda with our guests. Having spent years in hospitality, I understand what makes a holiday special: the small details, honest advice, and a genuine desire to help. We live nearby and are always available via WhatsApp or phone to answer questions, help you plan a day trip, or ensure your stay is exactly as you hoped. Our goal is for you to leave feeling refreshed, rested, and with beautiful memories of your time on our coast.
